Abruzzo Benessere - Logo Design Contest


For this contest, it was required to design a new logo for the Abruzzo Italian region, regarding activities that promote well healthy living in Abruzzo. The logo needs to communicate peculiarities, natural beauties, and commitment to preserving the environment and traditions of the region.

Inspiration: I looked for a sign that could communicate nature and well-being, contemporaneity, and Abruzzo tradition at the same time. The perfect symbol for this purpose seemed to be the flower. An element found in nature but also used to express well-being and wellness. Furthermore, it is found frequently within Abruzzo crafts and culture. I chose to design a rose as the mark, inspired by traditional decorations but designed in a modern way. Within the rose is a heart, the perfect emblem of love, for themselves and others, nature and culture, and a symbol of physical, spiritual, and mental health.
